Let the school know you're thinking of applying — they can share their prerequisites and help you through the process.
It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
The school offers an IB continuum: Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) across two campuses. Mathaf Campus hosts PYP (3–12 years) and City Centre Campus hosts MYP and DP (13–19 years). The learning approach is inquiry‑based to help students realize their social, emotional and academic capacities and to become confident, resourceful, creative, caring, responsible global citizens. The PYP Exhibition is a component of the PYP that showcases students' learning.
Arts and creative options include drama productions, music, and participation in international theater festivals, as well as technology classes such as App Development. The IB Diploma Programme also includes The Arts as a subject. The school hosts student-led events such as TEDxYouth@WellspringLC, showcasing creativity and public speaking.
English is the language of instruction. Arabic is taught as language and literature or as the host country language; PYP students study French as a third language, with MYP students in Grade 6 and above able to continue with French or switch to Spanish as the third language. Everyday is Mother Tongue Day at Wellspring.
After School Activities are available across PYP, MYP and DP groups and across both campuses. Beyond academics, the program includes activities such as Model United Nations, drama, and other clubs, plus access to various sports and tech courses. The After School Activities page confirms the range of programs and campuses for these activities.
Service learning is integrated into the IB framework in both PYP and MYP, with action and community service as an essential element of learning and opportunities to contribute to the wider community. Examples include projects related to the SDGs and refugee aid, among others.
The Student Council at City Centre Campus provides leadership development and school governance opportunities; elected representatives meet weekly and contribute to school activities, liaising with teachers and leadership. The council includes class reps, a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Communications Officer, fostering responsible leadership across the school community.
The Athletics Department opens opportunities to participate in basketball, football/soccer, swimming, table tennis, tennis and badminton, with Soccer, roller skating and gymnastics also offered across the year. The program emphasizes professional coaching, regular local meets and tournaments, and highlights events such as Wellspring's Sport and Wellbeing Weekend and Field Day.
