Parent Experience

Community, involvement and what it's like to be a parent at this school

History

Arrows International School was founded in 2010 as a Christian Homeschool Learning Center before evolving into a fully licensed international school registered with Malaysia’s Ministry of Education. Over the years, the school expanded its facilities and programmes, introducing a primary and secondary division and securing accreditation from Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE), making it an approved IGCSE examination centre. In 2021, Arrows was formally recognized as an International Secondary School, cementing its role in offering Cambridge qualifications. The school, led by founding directors Damien and Mei Ying, continues to serve a growing community of students—now numbering over 400—from its campus in Ara Damansara, Petaling Jaya, with a focus on combining academic study with moral development and character education.

Community

The school community fosters engagement through annual events such as Sports Day, Children’s Camp, Year‑End Concert, Youth Camp, Charity Works, Community Outreach Projects, and various Field Trips. These activities bring together students, families, and staff in shared experiences that reflect cultural or communal values.

Parent-Teacher Association

The school website does not mention the existence of a Parent Teacher Association (PTA) or describe related groups or activities.
