Let the school know you're thinking of applying — they can share their prerequisites and help you through the process.
It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
1. Get in touch today. The admissions journey is personalised to meet your child's needs and your family priorities. Fill out a short enquiry form with your preferred curriculum (APIS international or APSS national) and admission date; the admissions team will respond with next steps. Multilingual support is available to assist international families.
2. Book a visit. APS offers school visits and guided tours to help you decide if APS is the right fit for your child; let us know if there is a specific space you would like to explore and we will strive to accommodate it. Visiting helps you assess fit before proceeding.
3. Submit the application. Applications are accepted all year round; the admissions team will assist with the application, assessments and any necessary paperwork for employers or visa applications. You will receive further instructions after submission.
4. Application review. After the application is received, it is reviewed and next steps are discussed; a Cognitive Abilities Test (CAT4) and a Basic Entrance Test (BET) will be scheduled. The team will outline any additional requirements and timelines.
5. Offer of enrolment. If successful you will receive a letter of offer within 3 to 5 working days. To accept, sign and submit the letter within 14 days. The offer confirms the next steps for enrollment.
6. Secure a place. Provide any outstanding documents and pay the registration fee online to progress toward enrollment. The admissions team will support you through the enrollment process and confirm the commencement details.
7. Welcome to APS. Time to stride into the school year; you're now part of a community that learns together and grows together. APS provides ongoing support through the school years right to graduation and remains available to assist you as needed.
