Established in 2011 by Dato’ Steve Chong Yoon On, a chartered engineer and property developer, Austin Heights Private & International School (AHIS) was founded with the vision of creating a premier international school in Johor Bahru. Situated within the Austin Heights Education Corridor, the school began with an initial cohort of 450 students and has since grown to accommodate approximately 1,000 students from over 26 countries.
