Admissions

Admission requirements: Eaton welcomes students into Kindergarten 1–3 and Primary 1–6 (Key Stages 1 & 2) for the academic year commencing in September. Entry depends on age and on successfully completing the previous year or an equivalent level. Students are required to take an English and Mathematics placement test on entry to determine the most appropriate year group placement, and the Principal and senior teachers may interview students prior to confirming level placement and course scheduling. Intakes: There are two main intakes per academic year, in September and January; enrolments are accepted throughout the year subject to availability. Step 1: Make an Application. Complete an application form with attachments: two passport-sized photographs, certified copies of the student's birth certificate, a photocopy of the parents' MyCard, and a copy of the student's most recent school report (if applicable). Completed application forms can be scanned and emailed to [email protected] or delivered to Eaton International School, No 2, Jalan Panglima Hitam D 35/D, Alam Impian, Seksyen 35, 40470 Shah Alam, Selangor. Pay the RM2,000 non-refundable application fee by cash, cheque or bank transfer. Step 2: Do the Placement Test. Once the application is received and reviewed, the school will schedule the student for a placement test in English and Mathematics. Students joining Key Stage One (Year 1 and 2) will be required to attend an oral interview with the Head of Primary. The placement test or interview is designed to ensure that the placement of all children will best meet their educational and personal requirements. Step 3: Confirmation of Enrolment. If the application is successful, an acceptance letter will be issued to the student. The registration fee, deposit and tuition fees must then be settled before the student commences class.

Scholarships

The school offers Primary Scholarships. To apply, complete the Primary Scholarship Application Form and attach documents: a copy of the applicant's NRIC, birth certificate or passport; a copy of the parent/guardian's NRIC or passport; recent school reports including official exam certificates if already taken; and any other certificates and awards of academic and co-curricular achievements. The form includes sections for the student's details, the father's/guardian's details, the mother's/guardian's details, and achievements. It also requires a Personal Essay Statement of 150 words explaining how the applicant has contributed to school life (to be written on a separate page if necessary). Shortlisted candidates will be required to sit for a written assessment and will be notified of when this will take place. The form must be signed by the applicant and by the parent/guardian.
