The Early Years Centre follows a British-based curriculum designed to bring out the best in young learners. Nursery and Reception (ages 3–5) are taught under the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, with practitioners supporting communication and language, gross and fine motor skills and mark making while encouraging independence. Learning happens through play, with play-based learning promoting brain development, emotional intelligence, creativity and communication skills. Mandarin Immersion and Jungle School are part of the EYC, and the campus features immersive outdoor spaces that extend learning beyond the classroom.
The school offers a Dragons programme for young athletes. Outdoor spaces support active learning and exploration. Jungle School programs reconnect students with nature and bring learning outdoors.

Garden International School’s Early Years Centre (EYC) in Desa Sri Hartamas serves children aged 3–5 within the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and a British-based curriculum. Children learn through play while building early literacy and numeracy, supported by specialist lessons and Mandarin as an additional language. A distinctive feature is Jungle School, where classes move outdoors for hands-on exploration; GIS has further expanded nature-play with newly developed, multi-sensory outdoor spaces for its youngest learners. The EYC sits five minutes from the Main Campus in Mont Kiara, easing the transition into GIS’s through-school pathway (3–18). Families can use the school’s bus service, and fee information (including Early Years tuition) is published online. The wider GIS community totals 2,000+ students, with long-established strengths in sport and the arts
