The school has a 534-seat theatre for assemblies and productions with a large backstage area for sound and lighting. A Design Technology & Maker Space supports design and innovation with a secondary workshop on the 7th floor and dedicated sewing, laser cutting and CNC facilities. Two cafeterias serve meals to different age groups, EY meals are served in classrooms, and Elementary and Secondary libraries provide access to a rich collection and online databases; science labs support Biology, Chemistry and Physics with appropriate safety provisions.

Science facilities include three labs (Biology, Chemistry and Physics), a prep room and a chemical store, with eye-wash and showers in each lab and a fume hood in Chemistry; a science technician supports teaching and learning. Dedicated libraries provide Elementary and Secondary spaces with a diverse collection and access to online databases. The Secondary Design Technology & Maker Space on the 7th floor comprises two classrooms, a workshop and a textiles workshop for projects using sewing machines, CNC embroidery, laser cutting and wood and furniture making, with a workshop used for Innovation classes. Visual Arts Studios and Performing Arts spaces include resources and equipment for arts learning across Music, Drama and Visual Arts, with dedicated exhibition and rehearsal facilities.
There are more than 30 extracurricular activities offered each season, divided into Activities and the Athletics Programme. Activities include Creative Animation, Public Speaking, Chess, Japanese Language, K-POP, Learn To Swim, Model United Nations, robotics and a wide range of arts and STEAM clubs. The Athletics Programme trains and competes in badminton, volleyball, football, basketball, benchball, swimming, cross country and track and field; recreational options include cricket, netball, table tennis and touch rugby. IGBIS participates in athletic conferences such as AIMS and the Kuala Lumpur Sports League, reflecting a broad competitive and community sports offering.
