LFKL offers after-school activities that include academic enrichment such as coding and chess. The ECA team provides cultural, sports and artistic activities for students from kindergarten to high school, expanding exposure to new practices and experiences. Kindergarten students may attend daycare after school until 4:30 pm (except on Wednesdays), and primary students may participate in homework support after school until 4:30 pm (except on Wednesdays).
Arts and crafts are part of the after-school activities program, with music options including guitar and ukulele. The program supports cultural and artistic development for students from kindergarten through secondary school. Students can explore creative projects through Arts and Crafts and related activities.
English is taught for four to seven hours weekly from preschool to CM2, with CLIL used in the second half of the program to teach other subjects in English. In CM2 pupils sit for Cambridge English language certificates, and a French integration program supports non-French-speaking students. The International Section provides a British international pathway that combines French instruction with English-language components and, in secondary, prepares students for IGCSE or BFIB tracks.

Primary activities include daycare, swimming, gymnastics, climbing, rugby, football, badminton, judo, capoeira, taekwondo, arts and crafts, guitar/ukulele, cooking, chess, and coding. Activities run after school on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 2:45 pm to 4:15 pm for primary and 4:45 pm to 6:15 pm for secondary; Wednesday sessions are held from 12:45 pm to 2:15 pm, and Saturday sessions from 9:30 am to 11:30 am; students may choose up to two activities per week, with up to four sessions per week for football and swimming.
APEKL, the parent-teacher association, represents families within the LFKL community and helps organize school events and festivals such as carnival, while supporting student projects. The AFM is a French-speaking association that provides a welcoming network and organizes cultural visits, social events and charitable activities.
Orientation programs guide students through academic and career decisions. In 5ème, students explore professions; in 4ème they study courses; 3ème is project-based; in 2nde there is a discovery internship week with workshops on personal statements and resumes; 1ère focuses on higher studies and specialization; Terminale includes mentoring and preparation for post-baccalaureate pathways. Agora, AEFE's student website, is available for higher-ed resources.
A broad after-school sports program includes activities such as football, rugby, volleyball, badminton, swimming, climbing and other physical activities. After-school sessions run daily and on Saturdays, supporting students' physical development and well-being alongside academic life.
Lycée Français de Kuala Lumpur offers a French curriculum from kindergarten through high school for students aged 3 to 18. The school provides a bilingual French and English education, with English classes from early years and native English-speaking teachers.
