Facilities Overview

The school has air-conditioned, spacious classrooms equipped with Smart Board and Smart Panel technology. The campus comprises low-rise, eco-friendly classroom blocks, administration and boarding buildings, sports facilities and a cafeteria. Classes are typically 10 to 20 students, with a Learning Support Team operating from its own suite of rooms. Art, Music, Science, ICT and Robotics rooms, libraries, and extensive wireless ICT networking support creativity, research and learning. Playgrounds for Early Years, Primary and Secondary include an Eco-School Trim Trail and Eco-Garden, and specialist facilities for golf, fencing and archery are available nearby. Boarders have enhanced access to these facilities with en-suite rooms, a Common Room, a pantry, a laundry room and 24-hour security.

Sports Facilities

The Sports Complex is equipped with indoor badminton courts, a gym, and a dance studio. There is a covered swimming pool and outdoor basketball and football facilities. Specialist facilities for golf, fencing and archery are available in the adjacent Nilai University and Nilai Springs Resort. The facilities support a wide range of on-site athletic activities.

Academic Facilities

Air-conditioned classrooms are equipped with smart board technology. Art and music rooms inspire creativity and imagination. Science laboratories encourage students to explore and experiment. Libraries cultivate reading habits and provide space for research and homework. Extensive wireless ICT networking facilities with the latest computer equipment and learning software support teaching and learning, and a computer lab is fully equipped to facilitate ICT. A multipurpose hall supports indoor games and activities.

Extra-Curricular Activities

Learning Trips & Visits provide experiential learning with visits to cultural and natural sites such as the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre, Istana Budaya, Bird Park, Islamic Arts Museum, National Museum, Batu Caves, FRIM, Malacca and more. Eco and Outdoor Facilities offer Early Years Discovery Garden, Eco-Adventure Playground, Eco-Adventure Trim Trail and Stingless Bee Eco-Garden. The school promotes leadership development through the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award. The Adventure Club organizes outdoor learning events such as the NIS Outdoor Odyssey.
