How to apply, waitlist information, and financial support

Admissions Process

1. Submit Enquiry or Application Form
Parents fill out an online enquiry form or download the application form from the Regent website, or email it directly to the Admissions team. Provide Required Documents. Along with the form, submit:

Two recent passport-sized photos of your child
Copies of parents’ ID (IC or passport)
Child’s birth certificate and MyKid/MyKad
Latest school report
Vaccination and health records
Any previous educational or assessment reports

2. Entrance Assessment & Interview
The school conducts assessments in subjects like English and Maths (and possibly a brief interview) to check your child’s readiness.

3. Receive Offer & Fee Details
Upon meeting academic and documentation requirements, the school issues a formal offer letter, including fees and payment schedule.

4. Confirm Enrollment & Make Payment
To secure the place, confirm the offer and submit the required enrollment fee as outlined in the offer letter.

5. Schedule Orientation & Tour
Once enrolled, book a school tour or orientation session to introduce your child and family to the campus, teachers, and school routines

Additional Notes:

Open Enrollment: Regent accepts applications year-round. There is no fixed intake period.

Support for International Families: The school assists with visa processes and has a referral scheme for existing families.

Regent Merit Scholarship
Eligibility: Top-performing students (IGCSE/GCE/“O” Levels).
Benefits: Covers 50–100% of tuition for eligible A-Level (Years 12–13) students.
Process: Application → assessment→ interview → notification within four weeks

Holistic Development Scholarship
Eligibility: Students in Years 6–13 with achievements in sports, the arts, leadership, community service, innovation, etc.
Benefits: Tuition support of 20–60%, based on achievement level.
Process: Apply online with supporting documents and awards are for one academic year

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Global Skills Scholarship
Eligibility: Students in Years 7–13 demonstrating talent in STEM, innovation, or research (e.g., robotics, AI, published work).
Benefits: 6–20% tuition discount depending on level (district to national/international).
Process: 1:1 interview and documentation required

Global Citizen Scholarship
Eligibility: International students with outstanding academic results (e.g., 9A in IGCSE or ≥ 90% board exam scores).
Benefits: Up to 100% waived tuition for IBDP Years 1–2.
Process: Application, online assessment, two-stage interview

Additionally, the school organizes a Scholarship Exam (typically in August) for Year 3–10 students. High performers may receive up to 75% off tuition for the following year.

Regent International School Kuantan, established in September 2015, is part of the Singapore-based Global Schools Foundation and operates as one of several Regent campuses across Malaysia. The school offers the full Cambridge International curriculum, including Early Years, Primary, Lower Secondary, IGCSE, and pre-university programmes such as A-Levels and foundation studies. Located on the scenic grounds of St. Thomas School, the campus has a student community with a high number of expatriate families and internationally trained educators.
