Verify age requirements and complete the online application.
Parents should ensure their child meets the age requirements for the desired year group. Required documents, including academic reports for the most recent two years and supporting certificates for achievements, must be submitted via the SISM Admissions Portal.
Complete the English Proficiency and Mathematics Assessments.
Applicants are required to take the Duolingo English Proficiency Test online. A mandatory online Mathematics test is required for applicants seeking admission to Years 8, 9, and 10.
Attend the Entrance Interview and Pay the Application Fee.
A non-refundable application fee of RM1,000 is required to process the application. All applicants and their parents or guardians must participate in a mandatory entrance interview.
Receive the Admission Offer and Enrol.
Successful applicants will receive an official Letter of Acceptance (LoA) with a deadline for confirmation. Once accepted, parents must pay the necessary fees—including deposit, enrolment fee, tuition fee, and technology fee—to secure the child's place before class commencement.
The school does not operate a formal waitlist or pool system. Admission is dependent on the availability of seats and meeting the admission requirements.
SISM offers scholarships, notably the "SISM Genuine Learner Scholarship," for eligible students. This scholarship is open to all students entering Years 8, 9, and 10, providing up to a 100% tuition fee waiver.
Scholarship applicants must demonstrate academic excellence, exceptional achievements in academics, sports, or talents, and participation in community activities. To apply, students must first complete the admission application process and then submit the required documentation, including academic results, a recommendation letter, and a personal statement or essay.
Soka International School Malaysia (SISM) is a co-educational day and boarding school located in Negeri Sembilan. The school follows the Cambridge curriculum for students in Years 7 to 11, leading to the IGCSE examinations. For post-16 education, the school plans to offer both A-Levels and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, starting in 2026. The school is situated on a 50-acre campus designed with a focus on environmental sustainability, utilizing solar power and a rainwater harvesting system. On-site facilities include a 50-meter swimming pool, dedicated labs for science, design and technology, and art, as well as a boarding residence named "Friendship House." Co-curricular activities are a daily part of school life, with a broad selection of sports such as wall-climbing, aikido, and archery, alongside clubs like Model United Nations and the school orchestra. The school's educational approach is founded on the Soka philosophy of "value creation," a humanistic framework that prioritizes the individual student's happiness and potential. SISM is the first international school to be built on this principle.
