The school is located in Seremban, the capital of Negeri Sembilan. This location is approximately 60 kilometers south of Kuala Lumpur, about an hour's drive from the capital, and less than 30 minutes from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). Seremban provides a balance between accessibility to major transport links and a setting outside the immediate bustle of the capital.

SISM is a Secondary School which is divided into Lower Secondary, Upper Secondary and Pre-University levels.
