Soka International School Malaysia (SISM) is a co-educational day and boarding school located in Negeri Sembilan. The school follows the Cambridge curriculum for students in Years 7 to 11, leading to the IGCSE examinations. For post-16 education, the school plans to offer both A-Levels and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, starting in 2026. The school is situated on a 50-acre campus designed with a focus on environmental sustainability, utilizing solar power and a rainwater harvesting system. On-site facilities include a 50-meter swimming pool, dedicated labs for science, design and technology, and art, as well as a boarding residence named "Friendship House." Co-curricular activities are a daily part of school life, with a broad selection of sports such as wall-climbing, aikido, and archery, alongside clubs like Model United Nations and the school orchestra. The school's educational approach is founded on the Soka philosophy of "value creation," a humanistic framework that prioritizes the individual student's happiness and potential. SISM is the first international school to be built on this principle.
