Admissions

How to apply, waitlist information, and financial support

Admissions Process

1. Submit the application form and required documents.
Complete the Application for Admission Form and provide the necessary supporting documents, such as the student's birth certificate, recent school reports, and identification documents. An application fee is also required at this stage.

2. Assessment and interview.
Applicants for Early Years and Years 1–3 will have a general assessment with the Head of Primary. Candidates for Years 4–12 are required to sit for an age-appropriate entrance exam.

3. Await the admission decision.
Final acceptance is determined by the Principal, considering assessment results and the availability of places. Upon acceptance, an offer letter will be issued.

4. Confirm enrollment.
To secure the offered place, parents must complete the acceptance form and make the necessary payments, including registration and tuition fees, by the specified deadlines.

Waitlist

There is a waitlist system for certain year groups when they reach capacity. Admissions are processed on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to the Principal's approval, availability of places, and the results of any required assessments. Parents are advised to apply early, as year groups can fill up quickly.

Scholarships and Financial Aid

Sri KDU offers Sixth Form Scholarships (for the A‑Level program, typically Year 12 entry) across four categories: Academic, Sports, Music, and Leadership. These scholarships provide 10% to 20% off tuition fees for eligible candidates who demonstrate excellence in the respective fields. Applicants may need to submit evidence such as academic results (e.g., at least eight A/A grades at IGCSE, SPM or equivalent), portfolios (for music), or records of leadership roles and sporting achievements. Successful scholars are also paired with a Scholarship Mentor to support them during their Sixth Form studies.
