Introduction

Tanarata International School sits on a 5-acre campus at Planters Grounds in Klang Valley, with a site and a lake at the hill. Billing schedule and payment terms

Any bank or transaction charges incurred are charged to the student's account.

- Accepted methods: cheque drawn on a local bank denominated in Ringgit Malaysia (RM), direct bank transfer to the school's bank account, or cash deposit into the school's bank account (with proof of deposit provided to the registrar). Cash payments are not accepted at the TiS Registrar's office. Any bank charges arising from payment are charged to the payer. Tuition and fees are invoiced in RM only.

Boarding

- The school does not operate a regular boarding programme for students; boarding is not offered as a standard service. Boarding arrangements appearing for short youth leadership or camp programmes are separate and not ongoing boarding provision. Admissions

Admissions
1. Submit a completed application for admission along with all supporting collateral and transcripts to the Registrar. (Enrollment Application Form is available below in PDF format.) The TiS Student Enrollment Application Form can be viewed, downloaded, saved and printed.

2. An offer of admission must be accepted in writing along with payment of the registration or deposit fees before the earlier of two weeks from the date of offer, or two weeks from the start of the school term; if not, the enrollment offer is voided and the corresponding student-enrollment position is extended to another applicant.

3. Students are normally admitted to Year 1 to Year 10 at the beginning of the school year in September; all requests for admission must be directed to the Registrar.

4. There is no direct admission into Year 11, as preparation for the IGCSE examinations is spread over two years and begins in Year 10. Direct admission is possible for the Year 12 2-year AS/A Level programme.

5. Admission requirements include an assessment scheduled after a completed admission application is received by the Registrar. Baseline topics include a test of ability in written and spoken English, a test of numeracy, and an interview with the parent(s) and student by the teaching team and admission committee. The entrance assessment normally takes two school days.

6. Submit application forms, with all necessary supporting documents, to the school's Admin Office no later than two weeks before term begins.
