Admissions

How to apply, waitlist information, and financial support

Admissions Process

Attend an open day. Should you wish to learn more about the school environment and facilities, you may be able to book an open house or a campus meeting. These events provide an opportunity to visit the school and speak with staff members to gain further insight.

Submit application form and supporting documents. The next step involves completing the school’s official application form and submitting it along with copies of relevant supporting documents. A non-refundable application fee is typically required at this stage to process your application.

Attend exam and interview Following the application submission, an admissions assessment is usually required for prospective students. This may include an entrance exam, open questions, and an interview, tailored to the student's age and desired grade level. The school generally aims to notify parents of the application status within one week after the placement test date.

Receive and accept offer. Upon successful assessment and if a place is available, an offer of enrolment will be extended. For international students, the school's Admissions Officer will then assist with the necessary visa application process, which involves obtaining approval from the Ministry of Education (MOE) Malaysia and subsequently from the Immigration Department.

Waitlist

The school does not typically operate a formal waitlist system. Admissions are generally open throughout the year, and prospective students can join after the academic year begins.

Scholarships and Financial Aid

TPIS offers a variety of grants and discounts to eligible students, acknowledging both academic achievement and other contributions. These include academic grants for top performers, with substantial tuition fee reductions for students ranking highly in national assessments or achieving high percentages in their latest academic year.

Grants are available for students with proven sports records, with discounts ranging from 10% to 20% based on medal achievements (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
