Parent Experience

Community, involvement and what it's like to be a parent at this school

History

Templer Park International School officially opened its doors in 2018, establishing its campus within the natural surroundings of Rawang, Selangor.

Community

TPIS fosters an inclusive and welcoming community, valuing diversity, equality, and mutual respect among students, parents, and staff from various cultural and religious backgrounds. The school actively involves its community through participation in local charities and student-led community service initiatives throughout the academic year. The unique park-based environment encourages engagement with nature, fostering environmental awareness. Community events frequently take place, such as the annual TPIS Sports Day, educational tours like the GogoKids School Fun Tour promoting healthy eating, and the TPIS English Camp

Parent-Teacher Association

Templer Park International School primarily facilitates parent and teacher collaboration through its Parents-Teacher Meeting (PTM) system. These PTMs are typically held three times during the academic year, serving as a vital platform for open communication regarding student academic progress, behavior, and social development. Parents are welcome to schedule private meetings as needed. The PTMs aim to collaboratively set educational goals, address concerns, provide feedback on student performance, and strengthen the partnership between home and school.
