Parent Experience

Community, involvement and what it's like to be a parent at this school

History

Tenby International School Tropicana Aman opened in 2018, establishing a purpose-built campus. It is part of the larger Tenby Schools group, which traces its origins back to 1960 when it was founded as a kindergarten for British expatriates. Like other Tenby campuses, it became a member of the International Schools Partnership (ISP) network in 2018, connecting it to a global educational community.

Community

The school community includes students from various nationalities and cultural backgrounds. Community events are held throughout the year, such as international days, cultural dress-up days, and charity fundraisers. The school also celebrates key local and international festivals, involving students and parents in performances and classroom-based activities.

Parent-Teacher Association

The Parent's Association (PA) at Tenby plays an active role in building connections between parents, teachers, and the wider school community. It supports school-wide initiatives such as charity drives, International Day celebrations, and cultural festivals. The PTA also organizes welcome events for new families and provides volunteer support for class activities and excursions.
