Academic and Intellectual

The International School @ ParkCity offers a Cambridge International Examinations framework for the secondary curriculum, directing the IGCSE program with Cambridge and AQA as examination boards. The curriculum includes English, Mathematics, Science, Art, Design and Technology, Drama, Geography, History, Music and Physical Education, with students selecting two Modern Foreign Languages from Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin Chinese or Spanish. Weekly COALS sessions (Community Outreach and Life Skills) develop core ISP habits and learning skills, character and positive contribution to the local community. All subjects are taught by highly qualified subject specialists who make full use of state-of-the-art facilities to support learning.

Arts and Creative

The school runs a broad Co-Curricular Activities program with over 400 teams, clubs and activities each year across sport, arts, academics and music. Specialist CCAs, led by external experts, include Fencing, Taekwondo, Robotics, Cheerleading and Cricket. Examples of CCAs include Dodgeball, Drama, Art & Craft, Primary & Secondary Orchestra, Choir, Photography & Filmmaking and Dance. CCAs promote teamwork, leadership, communication and collaboration across age groups.

Cultural and Language

Malay, Mandarin and Spanish are offered as modern foreign languages. Students select two modern foreign languages for the IGCSE. The language program supports communication and cultural awareness within the international curriculum. Language learning is integrated with global perspectives across the school.

Social and Hobbies

Co-curricular activities cover a wide range of interests, including sports, drama, dance, yoga, photography and filmmaking, and technology. CCAs are available after school, with some specialist options run by external experts. The program emphasizes teamwork, leadership and personal development through participation.

Community and Service

Weekly COALS sessions (Community Outreach and Life Skills) enable students to master ISP core habits and learning skills, develop character and positively contribute to the local community.

Leadership and Professional

An extensive student leadership programme is run from Year 2 through to Year 13 with over 150 students involved in leadership roles from Class Buddies and Sustainability Ambassadors, to Student Council and Digital Leaders, to Student Prefects and House Captains.

From Year 10, students have access to The International Award (DOE-IA).

The International School at ParkCity (ISP) in Kuala Lumpur offers a British-based education for students aged 3 to 18, from Early Years through to A-Levels. Younger students engage with the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) alongside the English National Curriculum, preparing students for Cambridge IGCSE examinations in Years 10 and 11, followed by Cambridge AS and A-Levels in the Sixth Form. ISP provides over 400 Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) throughout the school year, catering to a wide range of interests from sports and performing arts to academic clubs and community service, allowing students to explore passions beyond the classroom. The campus includes facilities such as a multipurpose hall, astroturf pitch, a rooftop games area, a sports hall, competition standard climbing wall and a 6-lane heated swimming pool. A distinctive feature of ISP is its comprehensive House System, where students are allocated to one of four houses named after endangered Malaysian animals: Gajah, Penyu, Harimau, and Badak. This system encourages participation in inter-house competitions, fostering teamwork and providing opportunities for students to develop social skills and be recognized for their efforts.
