TCIS Kuala Lumpur, established in 2007 as an extension of Tzu Chi's Da Ai Kindergarten, is a not-for-profit international school in No. 1 Jalan Jalil Impian 2, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur. It serves learners aged 4 to 17, from Kindergarten 4 through Secondary Year 11. Cambridge curricula anchor the program: Cambridge Primary (Year 1-6) with the Year 6 Primary Checkpoint, Cambridge Lower Secondary (Year 7-9) with Year 9 Checkpoint, and Cambridge Upper Secondary (Year 10-11) culminating in Cambridge IGCSE. In parallel, students participate in Tzu Chi's humanistic lessons, creating a holistic education that emphasises virtues and global harmony. 1) The application process entails attending a briefing session, submitting an online application form, and undergoing an admission interview. The online application must be submitted within the admission deadline. By submitting the Application Form, consent is given to collect, retain and process personal data for administration and other legitimate purposes; personal details will be collected throughout the course. Notifications for placement assessment and/or admission interviews are sent by email to properly completed applications. 2) Placement Test and Interview: After the online application, placement assessment and admission interviews are conducted to determine eligibility. The placement test and interview are part of the admission process. 3) Offer of Seat: An offer of seat is issued to successful applicants. The Application Fee is non-refundable regardless of whether a place is offered. Applicants who do not attend the placement assessment and/or admission interviews will be disqualified without any refund of application fees. 4) Enrollment fees and Security Deposit: Enrollment fees and a security deposit are required to finalize enrollment. Payment follows the offer and is completed as instructed. The Application Fee is non-refundable and the application and fee are non-transferable.
