Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

Wembley International School provides weekly counselling and a moral values integrated curriculum to support students' social-emotional development. The program encourages outside the box thinking and develops resilience and interpersonal skills. A teacher-student ratio of 8-15 students per class enables personalized pastoral support. The approach is interactive and holistic to foster creative and critical thinking, collaboration and leadership. Teachers are veteran and skilled with at least 5 years of international school experience and Cambridge certification. Character-building and leadership development are integrated through co-curricular and classroom programs.

Mental Wellbeing

Weekly counselling and a moral values integrated curriculum support students' mental wellbeing. The approach aims to foster resilience, empathy and collaboration through an interactive, holistic educational model. A teacher-student ratio of 8-15 per class enables personalized pastoral guidance. Teachers with at least 5 years of international school experience and Cambridge certification support wellbeing initiatives. Situated in Kuala Lumpur, Wembley International School operates across two campuses: Wembley Academy Sri Petaling and Wembley International School Seri Kembangan. The school follows the Cambridge Curriculum, offering Cambridge Primary (Year 1-6), Cambridge Lower Secondary (Year 7-9), and Cambridge IGCSE/O-Level (Year 10-11) for ages 6 to 17. Students study core subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, Geography, ICT, Literature, History, and Languages including Mandarin, French and Malay, with additional options in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Accounting, Economics and Additional Mathematics. Weekly counselling and a moral-values integrated programme support well-being alongside learning, aided by a teacher-student ratio of 8-15 per class. A fast-track IGCSE option enables shorter course completion and potential savings. Co-curricular sports include badminton, table tennis, basketball, volleyball, netball and futsal. Extra-curriculars span hip hop and K-Pop dance, guitar and ukulele, cookery, speech & drama, cheerleading and arts & crafts, alongside leadership opportunities and international engagement for a global mindset.
