Woodlands International School was founded in 2013 in Sibu, Sarawak. It was established to meet the educational needs of both local and expatriate families seeking an internationally oriented curriculum. The school is the only international institution in the area and offers the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC), International Primary Curriculum (IPC), and the Cambridge curriculum at higher levels.
