Maltese, English, Italian and French are taught across the school. In the Early Sector, English and Maltese are promoted equally. In the Middle Sector, Italian is introduced (Grade 7) and Maltese as a Foreign Language is offered for non-Maltese learners in Grades 5–7. In the Senior Sector, Maltese, English, Italian and French are taught in dedicated language departments.
English and Maltese are used from the Early Sector with equal emphasis. Italian is introduced in Grade 7 in the Middle Sector. Maltese as a Foreign Language is available for non-Maltese learners in Grades 5–7. The Senior Sector has a Languages department teaching Maltese, English, Italian and French.
San Andrea School is an independent, co‑educational Maltese school for ages 2 to 16, offering a bespoke curriculum from Pre‑Nursery to Grade 12. The Early Sector provides bilingual instruction in English and Maltese with both languages taught equally. From Grade 2, learning follows the National Curriculum Framework through a thematic, project‑based approach. The Middle Sector (Grades 4–7) covers English, Maltese, Mathematics, Religion, Science, Environmental Studies, and practical subjects such as Art, Drama, Music, PSCD, Physical Education, Library Skills, ICT (Grade 5–7) and Italian from Grade 7. The Senior Sector (Grade 8–12) comprises Departments of Sciences, Mathematics, Humanities, Languages (Maltese, English, Italian and French), two ICT suites, and Practical Subjects (PE, Drama, Art, Home Economics). Maltese as a Foreign Language is offered for non‑Maltese nationals. Founded in 1992 by the Parents' Foundation for Education, the school now operates three sector buildings in Naxxar. Facilities include science and computer labs, a library, dedicated drama and music rooms, and a Senior School Multipurpose Hall. An extracurricular programme supports Nursery to Grade 11, including a Student Council and wellbeing services.
