English is the language of instruction and the English Department supports all students to communicate confidently in English. The department offers MYP Language and Literature, IGCSE First and Second Language English, and IB Diploma courses in English A and English B. French is taught with a transition from Foreign Language to First Language programs, and students in Forms 3 and 4 are supported to choose the subject in DP, particularly those comfortable with French literature. Spanish is taught to beginners with progression toward higher levels; there is an aspiration to offer Spanish as a First Language in the DP.
