English is the language of instruction in the High School for students aged 11–18. A strong French programme supports language development from beginner to fluent across age groups. In Nursery and Primary, English and French are used as languages of communication and teaching, giving children early bilingual exposure. French language study continues in the Secondary School as part of the school's language provision.

Northfields International School Mauritius delivers an international education for ages 1–18. The curriculum blends IB (PYP, MYP, DP) with Cambridge IGCSE, the British Curriculum and a Montessori-inspired Early Years framework. From Pre-Nursery through Year 4, learners experience a Montessori-inspired EY environment; Years 5–6 use IB PYP in combination with the English National Curriculum; Years 7–9 follow IB MYP with the Cambridge Curriculum; Years 10–11 offer Cambridge IGCSE; and Years 12–13 provide either the IB Diploma Programme or A-Levels. The youngest learners are taught in a bilingual English–French setting, exposing students to both languages from an early age.
