Northfields International School Mauritius delivers an international education for ages 1–18. The curriculum blends IB (PYP, MYP, DP) with Cambridge IGCSE, the British Curriculum and a Montessori-inspired Early Years framework. From Pre-Nursery through Year 4, learners experience a Montessori-inspired EY environment; Years 5–6 use IB PYP in combination with the English National Curriculum; Years 7–9 follow IB MYP with the Cambridge Curriculum; Years 10–11 offer Cambridge IGCSE; and Years 12–13 provide either the IB Diploma Programme or A-Levels. The youngest learners are taught in a bilingual English–French setting, exposing students to both languages from an early age. Northfields is part of the Inspired Education Group, which offers global opportunities and a holistic framework across academics, sports and the arts. Founded in 2001 by eight parents, the school is located at Labourdonnais Village, Mapou, Mauritius, with primary and high school campuses, extensive science and technology facilities, a library, and sports amenities. Extracurriculars include Model United Nations, Duke of Edinburgh and Service as Action initiatives.
