Colegio Fontanar is a private, Catholic, all-girls day school located in the exclusive Campanario area of Santiago de Querétaro. As part of the ITER educational group, the school specializes in single-sex education for young women from elementary through high school, operating alongside its brother school, Colegio Álamos. The institution provides a bilingual educational model in English and Spanish. A core pillar of the Fontanar experience is its DAIP program (Harmonic Development of Personal Identity), which focuses heavily on character development, while spiritual attention is entrusted to the prelature of Opus Dei. Academically, the school strongly emphasizes STEM to empower young women in science and technology. The campus features specialized Math and Science labs, as well as a cutting-edge Maker Space equipped for robotics, circuit design, and virtual reality. Extracurricular life is enriched with diverse cultural activities, including ballet, ceramics, theater, and chess.
