Admissions

How to apply, waitlist information, and financial support

Admissions Process

1. Enrollment period for the 2024-2025 cycle runs from April 8 to June 15, 2024. Enrollment applications for Maternal through Preparatoria are accepted during this window. Refunds of enrollment are only issued if requested at least 60 days before the start of the 2024-2025 cycle. 2. Tuition and fees structure: families must complete 11 monthly payments from September 2024 through June 2025; the 11th payment can be paid starting in August 2024 and no later than December 2024. 3. Payment timing and late charges: each monthly payment must be made in the current month to avoid a 5% late interest charge and to retain the discount on books, notebooks, and the Preschool package. 4. Payment methods and reference: payments can be made in cash only at BBVA ATMs or bank tellers, or with debit/credit cards at the Colegio Humboldt cashier from 07:15–09:30 and 12:30–15:00, or via SPEI transfers from bank portals or mobile apps. The payment reference is found on the Comunidad Humboldt portal. Cash payments at the school cashier are not accepted. 5. Enrollment discounts and deferred payment options: enrollment fees may be paid in 5 installments starting in April. If enrollment occurs in May and a deferred payment plan is requested, two installments may be paid in May, with the final installment in August, and the same pattern applies to subsequent months. 6. Discounts on books/notebooks and Preschool package: a 100% discount on books/notebooks and the Preschool package is provided under specific conditions, including being current on all enrollment, tuition, iPad contracts, and related obligations; the discount does not apply to stationery, calculators, uniforms, iPads or accessories; replacements for lost books/notebooks are the family's responsibility; the Preschool kit includes a uniform, a children's book, an educational toy, and an ecology workshop valued at 3,255 MXN. 7. Enrollment and tuition timing details: the document notes that internal extracurricular activities are included in the tuition and that external activities may have additional costs; the list of activities will be announced later. 8. Credentials and guarantees: to receive credentials, educational guarantees from both parents with original signatures are required. If a student withdraws, rights to the guarantee are forfeited, and if re-enrolling, the student is treated as a new entrant with current terms. 9. IPad program notes: students in IPad groups must pay an additional 10 monthly installments for device financing; the first payment begins in September 2024, and device costs follow the same cadence as tuition; costs for devices delivered in previous cycles are governed by the agreement in that cycle; costs for new devices are adjusted at delivery. 10. 191; office hours are 07:15–09:30 and 12:30–03:00; payment references and other administrative support are available through the Comunidad Humboldt portal.

Scholarships and Financial Aid

Scholarships are awarded in accordance with convocations issued by the institutions with which the school is affiliated. To apply for scholarships, the enrollment fee must be fully paid before submitting the scholarship application. Deferred payment does not apply to scholarship processes. In cases of IPad groups, students must also pay 10 monthly installments toward device financing; the first payment starts in September 2024 and follows the same schedule as tuition. For device acquisitions before the current cycle, costs are as agreed for that cycle; for new devices, the monthly amount is adjusted at delivery. Credentials require parental educational guarantees signed in original. Students who withdraw lose the rights to the educational guarantee, and re-enrollment is treated as a new entry under current conditions.

Colégio Humboldt Puebla is a bicultural German–Mexican school for ages 0 to 18 that participates in the German Auslandsschulnetz. The curriculum blends a German-based program with a bespoke local curriculum and a tri-lingual approach to Spanish, German, and English. In Primary, German is the first foreign language, and Mathematics and Science are taught in German; English becomes the second foreign language in grade three. The school weaves Mexican customs with German-European traditions, supported by German-speaking teachers who reinforce immersion. For students entering Primary with no German knowledge, leveling classes in small groups provide a one-year transition to full participation. The campus offers extensive after‑school workshops in music, theatre, arts, and sports, plus dedicated sports academies. Facilities include a large athletics complex, modern science laboratories, a new Kindergarten/Primary area, and, in 2024, padel and pickleball courts. CEPAL supports pedagogical training, and intercultural exchanges with Germany enrich language skills and cultural understanding.
