Founded in 1955 in a house on Avenida Vallarta, Colegio Inglés de Guadalajara serves Preschool, Primary and Secondary with a bilingual English program and English proficiency recognition. Miss Clementina Bassols de Lopez Sanchez, known as Miss Clemen, led the school from 1955 to 1982, prioritizing small classes and English as a second language. From 1983 to 2015 she guided growth while preserving close atmosphere; since 2016 Bernardo Bernardis Lopez leads with emphasis on emotional support and academics. It has 71 years of history and partners with leading preparatories for higher education progression. It emphasizes neuroeducation, mindfulness, values, psychomotor development, technology, robotics, arts, workshops, coexistence habits, and a multicultural environment. Academic facilities include a robotics laboratory and multimedia classrooms. Extracurriculars include the Talent Center for arts; academies in fine arts, robotics, chess, and dancing; and free after-school clubs. The athletics program features interscholastic and recreational sports, including girls' soccer, boys' soccer, basketball, and track and field.
