In elementary school, students work on understanding their emotions and those of others, developing strategies to manage, express and detect them in themselves and in others to ensure their personal well-being and that of others. With our NET virtues program, strategies and tools are developed that facilitate socio-emotional education and human formation in students, promoting positive environments and the dynamism of virtues.
The school uses bilingualism with English taught as a core component; 50% of elementary classes are taught in English, including Spelling, Vocabulary, Grammar, Writing and Science, with Cambridge certifications. The educational model also notes own approaches in the teaching of English, mathematics, language, technology and science.
Mental wellbeing is supported through socio-emotional education via the NET virtues program, which fosters personal well-being and a positive, collaborative learning environment.
The Safe Environments Policy establishes a code of conduct for all persons interacting with minors, a clear procedure to report and address transgressions, and an implementation and verification guide; all staff are trained in the policy, and a Safe Environments Officer is designated at each school.
