Primaria Alta and Secundaria offer Selectivas (electives) in areas such as Dibujo y Pintura, Danza, Instrumentos, Robótica, Diseño de Video Juegos, Teatro, and Boxing; Secondary also includes additional language options (French as a second foreign language and Chinese as a third) and certifications, along with a range of advanced science and technology offerings (e.g., Inteligencia Artificial) to support advanced learners.
ICAM follows a humanist philosophy that places students at the center of learning. It uses a constructivist approach with interactive, project-based classes. The educational model is anti-authoritarian: listen, dialog, assume, accept, repair to resolve conflicts. The school promotes a multicultural worldview and emphasizes empathy, respect and solidarity in and out of the community. Values and emotional intelligence are integrated into the curriculum from preschool onward.
English is part of the Lenguajes field at all levels. In Preschool, English is offered alongside Spanish, Literary Chocolate, and Art. In Primaria Baja, English is included in Lenguaje with a Reading Circle and Sign Language. In Primaria Alta, a second foreign language, French, is offered, plus Sign Language. In Secundaria, English is taught with Reading Circle, a second language French, a third language Chinese, and a Flyers Certification.
