Shine Ue School offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) and the Cambridge International Programme. The 6th–8th grades follow the Cambridge Lower Secondary, the 9th–10th grades pursue the Cambridge International General Certificate Program (IGCSE), and the 11th–12th grades implement the IB Diploma Programme. English is used within the curriculum and general science is taught in English by a foreign teacher. As of the 2022–2023 academic year Shine Ue School has 1,572 students in 54 groups and 137 teachers (including 16 foreign teachers).
Brush lettering lessons, dance lessons, choir and music lessons (piano and ukulele) are offered as after-school arts activities. Horsehead fiddle instrument lessons, dance, and art and design courses are provided, and chess lessons are available. Elective arts and crafts, mathematics, Mongolian Script, literature, English and Russian are offered to develop students' talents.
Elective language development includes English and Russian, and Mongolian Script is offered as an elective.
After-school activities include dance, choir and music, chess, and a science club, along with team sports such as men's and women's basketball and volleyball.
Sports training is provided after school, including men's basketball, women's basketball, men's volleyball, and women's volleyball, contributing to physical fitness and overall well-being.
Shine Ue School is a private international school in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, offering a blended international curriculum designed for students pursuing higher education abroad. The school provides the Myanmar Curriculum alongside Cambridge Secondary, Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge International AS Levels, Cambridge A Levels, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. Shine Ue became the first Mongolian school to implement the IB Diploma Programme in 2018 and was authorized in 2022 to offer Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge AS/A Level programs; the school is accredited by the International Baccalaureate Organization and Cambridge Assessment International Education. The curriculum includes advanced math and English, with all other subjects taught to international standards. English and Russian are taught in eight dedicated classrooms, supported by science laboratories for Chemistry, Physics and Biology, a library with over 10,000 books, a music hall and a sports hall, two computer laboratories, and high‑speed Wi‑Fi across the campus. Class sizes are limited to 25–30 students, with specialist teachers delivering instruction in English.
