Lunch costs 10,000 MNT per school day. After-school homework and sport club (Mon–Fri) costs 13,000 MNT per day and includes food and drinks.
British-style House system with four Houses: Austen, Chaplin, Darwin and Seacole. Heads of House are teaching staff; House Captains and House Vice-captains are Grade 11 and Grade 10 students respectively. The House Cup is awarded twice a year, and House Points are earned and exchanged for tokens weekly.
The English School of Mongolia is a private British international day school in Ulaanbaatar. It delivers a curriculum based on the English National Curriculum, Cambridge IGCSE, and the IB Diploma Programme, with Cambridge Lower Secondary for Grades 6–8 and IGCSE for Grades 9–10. English is the language of instruction; Mongolian is taught from Junior School, and a third language is offered from Grade 6 (Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Korean or Russian). The timetable covers eleven subjects—English, Mathematics, Science (Biology, Physics, Chemistry), Mongolian Language/Literature/Script, Humanities, ICT, Art, Music, Physical Education, and Dance—plus Form Time and enrichment. Additional features include a performing arts department with musicals and culture festivals, clubs and trips, overseas study opportunities, and the Better Together Variety Concert. The Executive Principal is Graham Hill; the school is accredited by British Schools Overseas (BSO). The campus supports a diverse, globally minded community from early years to Sixth Form.
