Wellbeing and Support

How students are nurtured, understood, and kept safe

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

The school is multilingual and multicultural and aims at developing students both personally and academically. It bases its curriculum on values that include freedom, equality, respect, responsibility, solidarity, and ecological sustainability. The school fosters tolerant and supportive attitudes and educates to overcome any form of discrimination. It promotes responsible citizenship and democratic participation as part of students' personal growth. It also emphasizes environmental awareness and sustainable habits in line with development goals.

Mental Wellbeing

The center supports student well-being through its values-led approach: it emphasizes freedom to learn and think critically while respecting others; it fosters equality, prohibits discrimination, and promotes tolerance and solidarity. Students are encouraged to be responsible and engaged citizens, contributing to a respectful school climate. The school climate and activities are designed to nurture resilience, inclusion, and social-emotional growth as part of the intercultural experience. It reinforces healthy attitudes and mutual support among students as central to daily school life. It also situates these aims within daily interactions and the school's intercultural context.

Safeguarding

The center provides a safety-focused program for digital literacy and safeguarding. It includes a 'Safety in the Network' talk for students in 4th–6th grades to address online dangers and to emphasize protecting personal data and passwords. Families receive the same safety guidance and a workshop to help them access and use the virtual learning environment. Personal data protection is a stated priority, and the plan includes training for students and families on safe use of new technologies. The educational plan also uses platforms like Alexia Educaria to manage learning and communication securely, with emphasis on protecting students' information.
