Parent Experience

Community, involvement and what it's like to be a parent at this school

History

The school has been part of the EGD network for over 60 years, earning the trust of families across generations and fostering a strong sense of belonging. The school was born from the desire to offer every pupil a demanding and caring learning environment and has always placed the success of all at the heart of its project. Over the years, the school has become a place of growth and sharing where everyone finds their place and contributes to the collective. Our history is written between educational tradition and a forward-looking vision, in a spirit of rigor and humanity. The school is located in a dynamic Rabat district, offering students a genuine opening to the world and, since its creation, has stood as an authentic Rabat institution anchored in educational excellence while looking to the future.

Community

The school fosters living well together by embracing the diversity of its students and their origins; multilingual and multicultural openness sits at the heart of its educational project. The educational community is broadened by the presence of an inclusive education referent (EREI), a school nurse, and a school psychologist, and teamwork is emphasized to provide a coherent educational offering. Students participate fully in school life: at the Student Council they debate, propose, and lead projects and activities, with some becoming class delegates, eco-delegates, or USEP delegates, and helping to foster a respectful climate. Parents participate actively through their elected representatives on the School Council and in the pôle's various bodies; two parent associations, CAPE and UCPE, are present, and meetings are scheduled with the leadership to discuss topics related to the school's operation.

Parent-Teacher Association

The school has two associations: CAPE (Collectif Autonome des Parents d'Élèves) and UCPE (Union des Conseils de Parents d'Élèves). CAPE provides a collective voice to defend the interests of families and students. UCPE is a solidarity union to accompany all parents in their engagement. Parent associations represent parents on the school council and in several other Rabat–Kenitra pole bodies. A permanent dialogue with the leadership supports the proper functioning of the establishment.
