Language Provision

Language learning opportunities and multilingual education

Language Provision

French is the main language of instruction. English and Arabic are taught daily from kindergarten through primary school, with English literacy beginning after mastering French. By the end of primary school, students reach a level of English suitable for work and communication. Arabic is taught as the national language with dedicated workshops; the program also prepares students for language certifications (Cambridge, TOEFL, IELTS, SAT, HSK).

Bilingual Teaching

Trilingual education in French, English and Arabic from preschool to high school, with daily language immersion provided mainly by native-speaking teachers.

Immersion Programs

Daily language immersion underpins EFI's program. Leveled groups are formed from 1st grade based on placement testing, allowing beginner, intermediate and advanced/native speakers to follow a course aligned to their development. English instruction is reinforced from 1st through 5th grade with English-only and cross-disciplinary classes.

École Française Internationale de Casablanca (EFI Casablanca) is a French international school serving nursery through high school in Morocco. The school delivers the official French Ministry of Education program and prepares students to pass brevet and French baccalaureate. EFI operates two International Sections—American and Arabic—within its curriculum and promotes a tri-lingual education in French, English and Arabic, with daily language immersion. To broaden access for non-Francophone families, the Passerelle program offers accelerated French as a Foreign Language (FLE) for early years or accelerated English as a Foreign Language (EFL) for those needing English to follow the 50-50 French-English curriculum. The campuses are located on Casa-Anfa, with primary facilities at 12,500 m2 and secondary at 18,500 m2, including nursery, primary, middle and high school spaces, as well as scientific and cultural facilities and sports areas. EFI is part of Odyssey Education Group network and runs an after-school program and EFI MUN.
