Academic Facilities

Library and media centers: The elementary school uses the Bibliothèque centre documentaire (BCD), while the collège and lycée use the Centre de documentation et d'information (CDI). The BCD is open to all elementary students and is used to encourage reading and to host book events and exhibitions. Reading helps develop cultural and linguistic knowledge, as well as expression and concentration. The CDI is a quiet space for research, documentation and reading for pleasure; classes visit the CDI with their teachers as part of class activities, and students may visit the CDI independently to search, read, borrow books or browse the Internet. The CDI provides computers for school-related research, and borrowing rules are available at the CDI.

Located in Rabat's Hay Riad district, Lycée Français Sophie Germain is a French international day school for students aged 2–18. It is AEFE-accredited and part of Globeducate, offering the French national curriculum with a bespoke pathway for bilingual learning. The school educates Maternelle (ages 2–6) through Lycée (ages 15–18), with the Seconde, Première and Terminale stages preparing pupils for the Brevet and the Baccalauréat, including Baccalauréat Français International in bilingual (French-English or French-Arabic) and tri-language formats. A bilingual French-English pathway begins in middle school to produce graduates fluent in both languages. The campus features a FabLab, swimming pool, amphitheatre and gym, alongside library facilities (BCD for younger pupils; CDI for secondary) that support research and reading. The school emphasizes project-based learning, innovation, and real-world applications, including robotics, WebTV and a Model United Nations program (GERMUN). The extracurricular program includes arts, sports and cultural activities that foster curiosity and international mindedness.
