English is the language of instruction, and MISY Mandalay follows the English National Curriculum. An English as an Additional Language (EAL) program is available from Year 3 through Year 10 and is delivered by four full-time EAL teachers to support non-native English speakers and help students access the curriculum. Myanmar language (Burmese) is taught as a subject, with two 45-minute lessons each week, and is not taken as an IGCSE subject. Mandarin is offered as a language taught by a specialist Mandarin teacher.
