As an IB Continuum School, it shares a common IB philosophy and a commitment to a high-quality, challenging curriculum essential for its students. The school was established with the vision of becoming an IB Continuum School to provide world-class education within the country, and it achieved this goal in a very short period of time, becoming the second school in Nepal to implement all three IB programmes. Teaching and learning at Swostishree Gurukul celebrates inquiry and a constructivist, open, democratic classroom environment. The IB framework is blended with the National Curriculum.

Swostishree Gurukul IB World School is an international, coeducational day school in Nepal offering the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) alongside the Nepal Government's National Curriculum. The school educates learners from age 3 to 18, guiding them from early years through secondary with a single IB continuum approach that emphasizes inquiry, critical thinking and intercultural understanding. PYP is implemented from preschool to Grade 5, MYP from Grade 6 to 10, and DP for ages 16 to 19, including six subjects and the core requirements TOK, EE and CAS. The campus features DP and study libraries, science laboratories, a cafeteria, and indoor heated swimming facilities, plus digital learning resources. Extracurriculars include SG MUN conferences and inter-school debates, leadership programs, and cultural activities such as Saraswati Puja.
