The campus comprises approximately 2,000 square meters, converted from a former office building into a state-of-the-art learning environment for international students. GMIS serves preschool (3–6 years) and primary (6–12 years) students. The medium of instruction is English, with additional language classes in Dutch or French taught twice weekly. GMIS is an IB Primary Years Program (IBPYP) school.
GMIS provides swimming sessions at the Aalsmeer Swimming Complex for preschoolers and primary students. The sessions take place in an indoor space, offering a warm environment for aquatic activities. Swimming develops motor skills, strength, and coordination while keeping students active. Professional instructors supervise the sessions to ensure safety and enjoyment. The swimming program is part of the school's sports offering.
GMIS teaches in English and offers Dutch or French as additional languages taught twice weekly. GMIS follows the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (IBPYP). Every class has a full-time homeroom tutor and specialized subject teachers in Physical and Health Education, Art, Music, Library, STEAM, IT, EAL and Drama. GMIS provides a library as part of its academic facilities. The library houses books in nine categories, including storybooks, reading books, chapter books, non-fiction, Dutch, French, Ukrainian, additional languages, and teacher resources.
GMIS provides extra-curricular activities on Wednesdays as part of its holistic approach. The ECA includes sports-based and interest-based activities that promote team building and leadership. Activities include Zumba, Table Tennis, Pottery, Piano, Mosaic, Jewelry Making and Interpretive Dance. Other sports are available such as Football. The program aims to nurture mind, body and spirit.
