Winford Bilingual Amsterdam sits in the Museumplein area, in the heart of Amsterdam. It serves children aged 4 to 12, with a Dutch curriculum stream available for ages 9 to 12. Each classroom has two teachers and about 20 children, and all subjects are taught in both Dutch and English. Lunch and snacks are provided daily by an in-house cook, and the school is centrally located with a bilingual IPC-aligned program. Classes are Panda (4–6), Zebra (5.5–8), Giraffe (7–10), and Eagle (10–12), with field trips to libraries and the Nemo Science Museum as part of IPC learning.
All subjects are taught in Dutch and English, combining the Dutch and UK national curricula with the IPC. The multi-age classrooms (Panda, Zebra, Giraffe, Eagle) have two teachers and about 20 students each. The program aims for fluency in both languages throughout the day. Dutch CITO tests are given to all children over 5, with English assessments twice yearly.
