Performing Arts groups participate in annual choir festivals and competitions, perform in community concerts, and stage major productions throughout the year.
The Parent Teacher Association is a team of volunteers that raises funds and runs social events for the school community. Money raised by the PTA pays for equipment for students and large projects such as landscaping. All parents and caregivers are welcome to join the PTA at any stage of the year. Meetings are held in the staffroom, with the next meeting announced on the PTA page. They welcome sponsorship or donations from businesses and individuals.
Takapuna Grammar School is a co-educational state school on Auckland's North Shore, New Zealand, serving Years 9-13.
