Facilities

Resources and spaces that support learning and development

Facilities Overview

CIS Lagos sits on a modern secure campus that serves both day and boarding students. The campus houses three schools on site: Junior School, Senior School and the Sixth Form, each with purpose-built classrooms. A new boarding house sits on campus, with its own grounds, sports facilities and dining hall. The school follows the English National Curriculum and integrates the local culture, values and environment. There is a vibrant extracurricular programme of sports, music, drama and the arts that takes place after the school day.

Sports Facilities

The school has access to sports facilities, including all weather pitches, a swimming pool and an indoor hall. The boarding house on campus also benefits from its own sports facilities, complementing the wider school provision.

Academic Facilities

Specialist teaching rooms exist for ICT, design and technology, music, art, science and performing arts. The three schools on campus feature purpose-built classrooms designed to support learning across the curriculum. The relocation to Lekki enabled the expansion of facilities to accommodate these specialist areas.

Extra-Curricular Activities

Junior School offers teacher-led clubs including swimming, football, French, coding, creative dance and craft, plus externally led clubs such as ballet, fencing, gymnastics and taekwondo. Senior School provides a broad enrichment programme with lunchtime activities including Chess Club, Book Club and Creative Writing, a Green Team, and a range of sports; it also runs the Duke of Edinburgh International Award and a Volt Club focused on student-led community service.
