DSA Abuja fosters a community that values respectful and democratic coexistence and personal growth. The mission notes that teachers address individual strengths and weaknesses and support students in discovering their talents. A class leader lesson anchored in the timetable develops methodological skills, prepares for school events, and trains social skills. The school emphasizes intercultural understanding through its two language streams and a multicultural staff and pupil body, with parents participating in school life to support social development. The English and German streams create inclusive social dynamics and opportunities for students to engage with diverse peers.
Staff are trained in early childhood education and intercultural work, and sensitivity, openness, and individuality are emphasized to support all children with different development stages and individual needs. A contact person is provided for each stream (German-speaking or English-speaking) to assist families and coordinate support where needed.
Two language streams are offered: German-speaking and English-speaking groups. The English stream follows the English Curriculum and progresses through reception to primary levels. Language of instruction is German or English depending on the chosen stream, with bilingual education from grade 1 onward in the primary cycle.
The mission emphasizes personal growth and ethical enrichment as central to school life, and the profile highlights a supportive environment. The school aims to foster respectful and democratic coexistence and to prepare students for national and international educational paths, reflecting a focus on students' holistic development and well-being.
DSA Abuja presents a community where teachers, pupils, and staff work together to create a safe and respectful learning environment.
