1. Year levels and session. Emerald Schools offers admission into Year 7, 8, 9 and 10 (JS 1, 2, 3 and SS 1) for the 2026/2027 academic session. Admission is offered upon success at the entrance examination and the availability of space in the candidate's desired year. The entrance examination tests English Language, Mathematics and General Paper. Prospective students should prepare for these subjects as part of the admissions process. 2. On-site application. Applicants may walk into Lagos or Ogun campuses to obtain an Application Form for ₦15,000. Completed forms should be submitted with four passport photographs, a photocopy of the birth certificate, and the most recent academic reports from the last two years. The Lagos campuses include Lagos - Gbagada; the Ogun campus is Emerald Valley, Ogunrun-Ori Village, near the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway; a Liaison Office is in Lagos and a Port Harcourt campus is listed. 3. Online/alternative application. An Online Application Form can be filled and ₦15,000 paid at any branch of UBA Bank (EMERALD SCHOOLS LIMITED – 100 891 3400) or First Bank (EMERALD SCHOOLS LIMITED – 202 223 2474). 4. Entrance examination dates. The First Batch/Scholarship Entrance examination into Year 7-10 for the 2026/2027 Academic Session is on Saturday 14 February 2026 (Lagos State Campus) and Saturday 28 February 2026 (Ogun State Campus) at 9am. The Second Batch Entrance examination is on Saturday 18 April 2026 (Ogun State Campus) and Saturday 25 April 2026 (Lagos State Campus) at 9am. These dates determine eligibility for admission, and candidates should arrive on time. 5. Post-exam notifications and admission letters. Successful candidates will be informed via SMS, email or phone call. A provisional letter of admission will be issued for collection, and the acceptance letter must be signed and returned with all required payment. 6. Payments and receipts. Payments are made to designated banks or via POS on school premises; the Accounts department receives the bank slip/draft and issues a receipt. Receipts serve as proof of payment. 7. Emerald School is a school network serving Lagos and Ogun, Nigeria, offering nursery through secondary education, vocational programs. The school serves ages 1 to 16 and provides day and boarding for high school. The curriculum blends British and Nigerian frameworks, with Montessori for pre‑school from 18 months to five years.
