Emerald School was established in 1995 starting with Emerald Nursery and Primary School in Lagos. In 2005, Emerald High School was established to allow pupils to continue from primary to secondary and benefit from the school's role-model building programme. Many of the pioneer High School students were products of the Primary School, and the trend continues. The school strives to know each child's capabilities and guide them toward the best fit, believing every child can learn and achieve their goals. The school is run on sound management principles with clearly defined structures, systems and highly experienced teachers and a Board of Advisors, and its curriculum and programmes are designed to meet the changing global demands.
Emerald is a collaborative, supportive, diverse, and ever-growing community more like a family than a school. The school emphasizes consistent academic achievements, qualitative entrepreneurship/vocational training, state-of-the-art facilities, excellent faculty, conducive environments, and a personalized approach to teaching and learning. Emerald has an educational legacy of 25 years and nurtures pupils from kindergarten to high school. Emerald Schools operates six campuses.
