Boarding is offered at Funtaj International School. Boarding is a lifestyle that offers opportunities to experience different cultures, develop independence, and form lifelong work, study and service habits. The residences are created by students and staff and provide a nurturing, homelike atmosphere. The boarders' schedule includes schoolwork, outdoor education, service activities in the community and special boarding events.
Day students wear the uniform at all times. Shorts and/or skirts with hems more than 5 cm above the knee are not allowed; clothing with messages or symbols pertaining to violence, alcohol, other drugs or offensive images is not allowed. Piercings: small studs may be worn; jewellery other than watches and plain religious items is discouraged and may be removed for safety. It is recommended that clothing be labelled for identification.
The school has a house system used for inter-house competitions; houses compete in events such as inter-house sports, with colors and banners. Blue House won the Inter-House Sports Day.

Funtaj International School is a private international school in Abuja offering a diverse education for ages 1 to 17. The Kafe Campus is bilingual and affiliated with the French Institute in Nigeria, with facilities including classrooms, a sporting arena, a swimming pool, music and arts studios, ICT suites, a dining hall and an indoor playroom for toddlers.
