History

Greenoak International School, Port Harcourt comprises a Primary Campus and a Secondary Campus. Greenoak Primary was founded in September 2004, and Greenoak Secondary was founded in 2008. The founders were motivated to create an establishment that would provide quality national and international education. The school operates a hybrid curriculum that includes the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), along with British, American, and Nigerian curricula. The motto Unitate, Fortis, et Excellentia (Unity, Strength, and Excellence) guides a balanced education designed to produce intelligent, skilled, confident, and morally sound students prepared to thrive in a global society.

Community

The Greenoak community is friendly and diverse and is open to both boys and girls. The school offers a hybrid curriculum that combines Nigerian, British, and American curricula and features co-curricular activities such as debating, languages, and sports. The school hosts cultural and international events, including an annual International Day that celebrates and shares cultures from around the world, and the Primary Campus has recognised festivals such as Diwali.
