Greensprings School began in January 1985 as a Montessori nursery for children aged 2-5. It has grown into a leading institution offering education from foundation stage to post-secondary levels. The school operates three campuses in Anthony, Lekki, and Ikoyi with a combined student population of over 2,500 pupils per session. The school has been entirely self-supporting since inception, with a Board of Governors overseeing the work of the Director of Education and the School Director. Greensprings School offers first-class education from the foundation stage to post-secondary levels. We are a British international school located in Lagos, with campuses in Anthony, Ikoyi, and Lekki. Our offerings include Crèche, Preschool, Elementary School, Secondary School and Sixth Form.
Greensprings has a vibrant community across Anthony, Ikoyi, and Lekki campuses. The calendar features Book Week, International Women's Day, and Down Syndrome Day activities, along with campus-wide dining events. Sports and cultural events include the St. Clair 7-a-Side competition, the Dolphins Swimming League (Long Course) in partnership with the Lagos State Sports Commission, and Mandarin-focused activities for Chinese New Year.
The PTA is at the forefront of promoting and supporting the founder's vision for Greensprings School. It emphasizes child-centeredness, the protection of the ethos, and social, moral and academic integrity as part of its oversight to produce well-rounded global citizens. PTA members serve through elective offices and voluntary roles, acting as a bridge between the school and parents to promote fairness and the best interests of the children.
