Ibadan International School (IIS) is a co-educational day school in Ibadan, Nigeria, offering an international curriculum for children from creche to Year 4 (ages 0–15). The Pre-School and Junior School follow the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP), while the Senior School delivers the Cambridge IGCSE with Cambridge International A Levels also available. Established in 2003 by the Zard Foundation, IIS serves over 400 students from more than 15 nationalities with around 90 staff. The campus houses a library, a dedicated ICT Lab with a computer for every pupil, and extensive after-school clubs. Sporting facilities include a football field, two private swimming pools, a tennis court and a basketball court, with an Annual Sports Day in Term 2. Examinations include Checkpoint in Year 2 and IGCSE in Year 4. The school emphasizes IB accreditation, language study (Arabic, French and Yoruba), music and drama, and student leadership through a yearly Student Council.

IIS provides a broad, international curriculum that enables students to continue their education anywhere in the world and to live in harmony with others. Pre-School and Junior School follow the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) and IIS is an IB World School. The PYP emphasizes knowledge, skills, concepts, attitudes and action as the five essential elements of primary education. In the Senior School, students follow the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) curriculum, developed by the Cambridge Examinations Board in collaboration with international schools. Checkpoint examinations in Year 2 and IGCSE examinations in Year 4 position students for access to higher learning nationally and internationally.
IGCSE provides a foundation for higher level courses and is recognised as a reliable record of attainment that counts towards entry to universities and colleges around the world.
Inclusive education is supported as the School's approach to the reality of diversity in learning needs. Inclusion is an organisational paradigm that involves change and requires collaboration among students, parents, teachers and other professionals to remove barriers to learning and provide appropriate support for all learners. Step 1. The School Office is the first point of contact for potential entrants. A staff member will show you around the School and explain the admissions process. The school welcomes all students irrespective of colour, sex or religious affiliation. Step 2. Priority is given to siblings and returning students. Step 3. Admission is based upon a number of criteria, including general academic potential and suitability for the education provided. A report from the previous school is essential. Step 4. Entry may be granted at any age, subject to the availability of vacancies. Children are usually admitted into a specific grade on the basis on age. Step 5. The school does not cater for boys and girls with diagnosed Specific Learning Difficulties because it does not presently have the resources available to do full justice to the child concerned.
Students who meet the admission requirements for grade levels with no available spaces are placed on a waiting list in chronological order according to the date of registration fee payment. Priority is given to children who have siblings at the school at the time of application.
